36KWs of unbridled 1.5 non-turbo diesel power, pushing 1200kgs of Seat from standstill to... not standstill...
there's also a whole bunch of legislation ( in nsw at least ) preventing the installation of an older motor with less emission control into a newer chassis.

legally speaking, its true in NSW its hard/impossible to engieer an older engine in a newer vehicle, however i reckon the combination of SEAT+Diesel+WTF would get you through a blueslip.
The problem really lies in the fact that it would be really really slow. But, if you get a 1.9D (from loon for instance) it would be fine, and legal too.'07 Touareg V6 TDI with air suspension
