Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

The new forum software is an upgraded version of what came before, it's mostly the same but also a little different. Hopefully easier to use and more stable than before. We are learning together here, so please be patient. If you have questions, please post them here. If you have worked something out and can provide an answer,

  • Seat Cordoba GLX Woes. Throttle Body Help!

Hey all long time reader first time poster. Anyway I'm sure someone can help me on my latest situation. My throttle body in my Cordoba GLX 96 Auto pretty much died. Random idle, miss fires, unresponsive throttle, random high pitched buzzing from throttle body when the car was on standby, ect, ect.. anyway so i picked up a new throttle body from the exact same car on ebay for $22. Fits and works perfectly except for one thing, one of the connector plugs on the new TB is 4 pin but my car has a 6 pin. I have no idea why! is it possible to convert or change this?

    Thanks in advance
Working...
