Nice pick up mate, looks reasonably neat, but your plans sound even better!

My drivers seat wasn't ripped but all the padding was gone and it sqeaked when you sat on it, went over bumps etc. I took it to a local upholsterer and it was good as new for about $165.00. Actually ti was probably a bit better than new because I asked him to put a bit of extra padding in to make it nice and snug. The clear has gone on the roof of mine too. It makes it easier though. No need to wash it as it doesn't look much better when its clean!2001 Bora 4 Motion Sport now used by number two son

Yes the paint is not very magic to look at but it is black. It goes great though. Even though the Polo has a lot more go now that it is chipped I still like the Cupra. It is still quick, corners like it is on rails and gives better fuel consumption too when driven as identically as I can.2001 Bora 4 Motion Sport now used by number two son

Yes I bought the Cupra from Cupra99 (a couple of months ago), and I have to say that there seems to be an issue with the roof clear coat on the black magic cars. I have had a couple of quotes for the roof only here in Canberra and it seems I won't get away with it for under $400...even starting to think about giving it a go myself. I too have some plans to bring her back up to her former glory, not too much to worry about as the interior is close to perfect (she hasn't had alot of use, only 66k on the clock), the paint is the real issue...One day it would be nice to get the whole car painted...nice to dream!
