Seat Cordoba - what's this buzzing noise

G'day....I had the most unusual thing happen this morning, when I started the Cordoba there was this loud buziing inside the car with the blinker/emergency lamp lit......as I drove the car I then realised I had no speedo, tacho, petrol gauge and no power to the cigarette lighter - used for a phone charger......I guess this would be an electrical problem of some sort - any ideas??

I have not checked anything I had to go to work today....so tonight I will try and eliminate a few things....the usual would be fuses...and to check a few conections are not loose.........

Any ideas would be appreciated

Most likely the fuse for the instrument cluster.

I had a giggle when I saw this, I had the same thing happen driving. Made a bit of noise, didn't pay much attention until I had a look and fuel was empty.... then no revs...

By the time I saw the speedo was 0 my heart attack thinking I was out of fuel had subsided.

Hi,

I had a similar thing happen with the intruments and lights all doing strange things. Worked out the battery had died, changed it and all good.
Most embarassing the alarm was going off if I opened the door to get out.
