seat ibiza gti 95' question

hi guys, I am planning to get a 2.0 Ibiza gti 95' . am a little sceptical about this. but knowing theres VW under the hood, gives me confidence. would someone tell me about their take on this car?
also, are the spare parts easily available in sydney?

p.s. I think I'm in love with this beauty. so want to know everything before i commit

Thats the best model mate. Yup most parts are same as Golf, anything SEAT specic I will have or can get.

That said, I would have been happy with the GTI if I could have got one at the time.
