  • NO Speed Signal ?

So I am having some trouble with my cordy at the moment, it does exactly the same thing as in this post
    Here

It has been on vag com and comes up with no speed signal found which wasnt mentioned in the other post.

its had the Ignition coil replaced less than a year ago.

    What should I try first?

PS I also need a passenger side front door lock, loon do you have one?

Speed sensor is a three terminal plug on the gearbox towards the rear. It could be unplugged or stuffed. I have a working one if you need one.

Sometimes you get thet error message if the car is stationary when yiou test it.

      Hi Pete,

If that fault clears with the engine is running, the sensor is ok. This is normal diagnostic fault with ADZ engine management system (only when motor not running).

Cool, that explains it. An auto AGG I just wrecked did the same thing.

That is commonly referred to as the VSS and sends quite important info to the ECU. If you have a ****y sensor, just replace it. No point using 2nd hand sensors for anything
