  • Cordoba - rear passenger window

    Hi All,

The back window seems to have come adrift from its winding mechanism so I need to get the inside door skin off to fix it right ! To do this I need to remove the winder first, Does this happen by sliding something between the door skin & the winder ? If so do I need a special tool ? Some good advice would be handy before I stuff this up

    Thanks Griffo.

push the door card in, under the winder is a horse shoe shape clip that holds it on

The plastic ring around the handle slides and it pops off. Crafty german engineering

winder removal Just as you said, Krafty germans
Removed the winder then the insde skin, found that the black coloured winder bracket that slides up and down the metal track has broken so had to improvise with some wire to reattach. seems to work fine but for how long I dont know!

I reckon thats an allowable fix Griffo. I have fixed a couple like that and they last years. Much better than Golf 3 ones.

I have heaps of rear cordoba mechanisms here if you need em.
