  • Here is the question

they didnt last too long over here, maybe the name wasnt trusted or whatever. But im just curious to see what people think, as SEAT has quite a large fan base, especially in England.

The reason why they wont come back is that VW Australia and Seat Spain can not agree on how to sell the cars .
    Skoda is the same ,
Dont expect to see the cars here in the near future

        They're back.....!!!!

(No, not the Gremlins, but Skoda definitely and perhaps Seat.) I read yesterday that Skoda are going to be here in 2007 with a range of very Golf-like models...Yes and diesels! Goodo. The prices will apparently challenge Korea, but my guess is they'll be somewhere between Korea and Japan. Anyway, what we'll get is quality German design and engineering manufactured in Czechoslovakia (if that's what they call it nowadays!)

I reckon they shouldn't, the only team player well known is only Cupra... which ain't going to make too much sale, plus sharing components with VW n Audi, therefore people will buy them instead of SEAT, coz of the brand name, but I personally don't really care, as long as handling's good, well price tagged and unique

Yeah I like the shape of the Mk2 Ibizas, the later ones have too much bubble. The Mks have muscley sides. Especially my VR6 one

Mk3 is the best look Ibiza... Mk4 looks like poo... and the Cupra is the only nice looking Mk2 (i got over the look of the GTi)

But Seats look VERY nice... and if they came back... i would jump back onto the Euro wagon

I reckon VW engineering and componants at a fraction of the cost of the overpriced Golf or Audi is a bargain. I`d buy a seat or skoda tdi wagon, or 20v turbo anyday.

                        I agree

I also think with the new range of Seat's if they we're to bring them back people would be more interested in buying them.

and why not bring in another european competitor to add a little more flavour?
