Are you not using them? I will probably take you up on that sometime...

By my clacs the lip will only sit 10mm further out than the standard wheel, will still be a long long way inside the guard

I think they look alright, you could always space them out abit for extra stance?

But if im going to run spacers/adapters I already own these

and found these for sale that would look awesome with the right adapter/spaces to get them sitting flush

Small update. Mods have taken a back seat for a little while to get some new Wakeboarding and Kiteboarding gear coming into summer.

But i got some retro fit Aero wipers

Then I had another exhaust leak. Pulled everything apart to tighten the turbo bolts up and found this. One bolt missing in action!

Turns out the bolts arent the correct ones, probably installed when the new bottom end was put in last year. Im assuming they arent the correct rating and have stretched due to heat. They had no marking on them to know what they are. I then got a price off my mate at Audi and 3 bolts, 3 washers and a gasket is $130, and a 4 week wait!

Visit local bolt shop and got 10.9/s rated bolts and Nordlock washer for $2. Also used some High temp locktight so hopefully never come undone again!

Had to pull half the engine bay out to get the new bolts in

I reckon I have a spare pump if it has failed.

So car has been starting terrible on cold starts last couple of days, turbo bolts are tight and cant feel any air leaking with my hand like I have before. Im guessing its coils or spark plugs, but Im pretty time poor at the moment so getting time to have a good look is becoming an issue

Seems everytime I make the list for Happy Laps my car decides to break in the week leading up!

Does it run ok when it's warm?

Yeap, feels super strong and starts fine once it's warm. Just the initial start in the morning the revs drop that hard it will stall

Be worth a scan and a look at the fuel trims. I am favouring an air leak somewhere.

                              So updates:

Iv installed my short shifter, loving it.

Fixed the broken coolant pipe that kept me from Happy Laps

Also gave the car an oil change, and flushed the coolant system and put G12 in

My order from ECS came today, so now I have the fun job of installing a new O2 sensor

Also went and brought a machine polisher and a heap of stuff from Car Care Products, cars going to get shiny!

hey mate i'm lookign at getting the short shift kit for the 8p and maybe it is similar, was it a biatch to fit?

also where did you get your G12 from, i'm looking to replace the water hoses on the 8p too.

hopefully replacing the o2 sensor shouldn't be a bad job. I have done a couple on difefernt cars and usually quiet easy apart from limited space. let me know if you are struggling for the right size spanner as i might be able to help...
