Purchasing a TT

My sister in law wants to get either a Nissan 350z or the below

2005 AUDI TT (No Badge) MY2005 Coupe Private Cars For Sale in VIC - carsales.com.au

Just wanted to see if you guys had any info regarding the TT. eg how much it costs to service and major issues and where you guys get it serviced.

Do Volkspower in burwood VIC service Audis as well.

Any info would be great..

Any experience good ro bad as well would be great.

You can safely bet that Volkspower will service the car as it shares a common engine with a lot of Volkswagen products (1.8T motor and essentially a MKIV Golf chassis).

the wife had a couple of these in the uk a few years ago ...........
so first , im not understanding why the ad say's it has 5 gears , is it not the quattro version ?
if not im saying its slightly over priced
2nd make sure its had the cam belt and water pump changed
3rd watch out for the pixlels on the dash as they have a short life span on this era of TTalso the clocks
this was a factory re-call in europe/uk , i dont know about over here
finaly make sure all tyres are the same , the last TT we had was crap at low speeds , ie in multi story car parks
until we put 4 new tyres on
