Last week I got a 1997 Audi A6 but as often happens it only came with one key. Checked with Audi - cost for new key $270 for basic key, $700 if complete with remote. Today I had a new key cut and coded at kiosk in Rosebud Plaza for the grand sum of $79.95 and it works fine.

Good score mate only thing in Audis defence is that your system is not rolling coded (randomly encrypted) A bit newer and the coding becomes an issue but there is some good scanners out there now. Very lucrative business nowadays mate. New Audi is a different story your vehicle has got to be coded on line( vehicle plugged into the wall and hooked to Mainframe Germany. If the server goes down when codeing you are stranded been there a few times and is very embarrassing.
Anyway good score mateAlba European

Mate we are talking about the pill transponder in the key not the alarm fob. You can do that no worries but the key transponder is what we are on about.
