Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

The new forum software is an upgraded version of what came before, it's mostly the same but also a little different. Hopefully easier to use and more stable than before. We are learning together here, so please be patient. If you have questions, please post them here. If you have worked something out and can provide an answer,

  • Anyone know these Audi wheels?

    Hey,

I've bought these 17" Audi Wheels for my Polo and I'm struggling to find the background on them, i.e. name, if they're actually OEM etc. I've asked the guy who I'm picking them up from, but he's not really sure. All I know is that they came off a 2000 A3 'turbo' so 1.9TDI or 1.8T - but haven't been able to find what they look like on a car yet.

    Any info would be great!

Surely they musn't be OEM if 70+ people can't say anything about them...

Now I'm kind of put off, even if they would've looked pretty unique.

Yeah - that's what I thought, I'm going to ask him for a photo of the part number and VAG group logos which should be on them.

Don't think they're audi, I've spent a lot of time looking at VAG 5x100 wheels.

Here is a good site: 16" and 17" Audi stock wheel gallery database5x100
