  • Good bye VW hello Audi.

Just writing to thank everyone for their advice over the last year or so.

I've now sold my 2010 VW Golf 2.0TDI DSG and have today bought a 2008 Audi S3, 3Dr, Phantom black metallic, Black leather interior, 6 speed manual, Sunroof, Audi RS black grille, Audi Symphony Bose stereo. only 34000Km's on the clock for $41,000. I'm very pleased. One of only 4 S3's for sale in WA!

I've loved my VW but I think I'm going through a mid-life crisis, I'm sure they'll be comments about "you should of bought a R" but I wanted a 3Dr and I love the look of the S3.

Just a few pics of my new baby

Great looking S3 enjoy the new toy. That's always been my realistic dream car. Take care.

It's a fantastic car. My brother has one.

I'll be doing a photoshoot with both our cars next weekend!

A real midlife crisis involves a motorcycle

Nice but I bet it gulps down fuel vs the Golf.

                nice choice pom.

A pity you didnt bring it along to Northam yesterday, the Audis were few and far between.

very nice car mate, love the S3s
The way i see the new R (R owners please dont get upset, this is my opinion) is that its just a detuned S3 anyway. I'd rather drive a few years old S3 (and have all 199kw) than a detuned R version of 188kw

If you want tints let me know i know a guy who comes to your house, puts on whatever you want and charges almost 50% less. My tints on the golf costed $200

mmmm, very nice and very clean.

and fabulous price. my only beef with Audis is the price thing.... but i've always said if you can pick up a bargain Audi then definitely get one. (remember seeing an 03 or 04 s3 on carsales a while ago for 14 or 15 grand....hot)

Thanks governor22, car is great the bloke I bought it from only used it for weekend drives and had only put 2500Km's on it since the last service in January.
I was lucky with the price certainly couldn't afford a new one and so glad I got a 3 door. I just wish I was there to drive it as I'm currently serving overseas.
