  • New daily! Let the mods begin....

Just picked up the new daily drive. Has a few k's but it was a reps car. Full service history. As I work for an audio company that will have to be the major factor. Outside the A6 wheels are getting painted black, car will be slammed 3" front and 2" rear and full vinyl wrap with business logos. Will post up more pics over the next few weeks to show you all progress!

Just the baby, it's only a 1.8 20V, but I am just using it for next couple months until I get a new car, then the mrs can have this as her daily drive!

Next update guys, today picked up the new wheels. Decided to get something genuine. They will be custom painted to suit the car. The wheels are WORK Euroline SE, 20x8.5 front (ET35) and 20x9.5 rear (ET40). It will take some massaging to make them fit but with narrower stretched tyres and the car slammed its going to look insane!!

                      Those wheels are ace.
Really will suit the Avante shape.

Ok trial fitted the wheels today, stick just out of the guards, perfect! Front wheels are 20x8.5 (ET35) with 225/30/20 tyre, rear is 20x9.5 (ET40) with 245/30/20 tyre. Decision has been made on colour choices, car is getting painted matte white with gloss black roof, wheels are going matte white spokes with black lip. Once wheels are on the suspension will be measured up and custom springs fitted.

Have you considered getting the car vinyl wrapped if you want it to be matte white?
There is a forum member who runs a vinyl wrapping business in Brisbane i believe.

Should be loads cheaper than a full paint job.

The car was getting a full wrap, but it is more expensive than what I can get it painted for. We have a couple of cars in the build so painter is doing something special for me. I am looking at a new Golf as work car and want to get it wrapped, do you know what member is doing the wraps?

Have you looked into getting coilovers, as opposed to springs?

Car looks really neat, and wheels look ace. (i reckon they should stay as they are, rather than become coloured, but thats just me )

can't wait to see you pull off those specs!
