Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

The new forum software is an upgraded version of what came before, it's mostly the same but also a little different. Hopefully easier to use and more stable than before. We are learning together here, so please be patient. If you have questions, please post them here. If you have worked something out and can provide an answer,

    Welcome, Andy

G'day and welcome. Nice to have somebody from Tassie joining us so early. Yeah..... There was a perceived demand for a water cooled site as the air cooled bods were dominating. I'm from Gunns Plains but my line is just fast enough to make setting up this website and maintaining it viable. Like the look of you Golf for sale. It's my favourite colour, too. I'm sure Mattie will be drooling over it! Might be worth letting mainlanders know how cheap it is to get a car over on the ferry to Melbourne or Sydney as this may put them off.

It is cheap $300-$400 To send a car from sydney to brissie, melbourne, tassie and most of east coast. It costs more to Adelaide and Perth is $1000 or more.

Yeah that lil red one looks nice. Id have to polish it and put a big motor in it though.

Yeh a polish would bring it up real nice, not that fussed about selling but need some room, otherwise it will go in a shed for 20 years..
