Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

The new forum software is an upgraded version of what came before, it's mostly the same but also a little different. Hopefully easier to use and more stable than before. We are learning together here, so please be patient. If you have questions, please post them here. If you have worked something out and can provide an answer,

well I was starting to freak out, been off the road for a couple of months now and couldn't find a head for it, had just decided to shelve it for a good long while, slowly find the bits but not do anything (the GF and I are planning a big trip to the mainland next year just to cruise around for 6 months so that will a) suck up lots of cash, and b) need another car eia land cruiser or similar) but now it looks like i can get al the bits, so it may be going back together soon rather than 2-3 years... well see haven't told the GF about this bit yet, especially as the money set aside for the rebuild has been getting whittled away. If it all goes well and the quattro is super reliable, i'd LOVE to take that on a mega road trip, but knowing my luck it'd break down somewhere and we wouldn't be able to fix it... any way well see... i want it back real bad
