  • Bought a 20V quattro today

Thoroughly enjoying driving this car. Polar opposite in characteristics to the mk2. Sounds great without having to be too loud. Really complient over bumps it is a refreshing change. The wife likes it and she doesn't like cars.

Went to drop Jay at scouts tonight and remembered they were rock climbing so quick u-turn and a cracking drive there at pace. The manual gearing is fairly long so 60k's is 3rd not 4th. It feels a bit laggy like an old school turbo then picks up and it's on.

It's been a long week waiting to collect this and the glorious weather this morning topped it off. Turning onto the expressway and listening to the 20V banshee wail climbing through the gears as the electric sunroof went back life just got that bit sweeter

    Epic ...

that has to be the cleanest 90 I've seen, excellent work mate. I'm just a tiny bit jealous now!

Can you say roughly what you paid? I mean, was it under 5k for instance...
I just want to get an idea what a good one is worth.

This one is in average to good condition by my standards. It was under $5k and I was offered $500 more than I paid by someone that missed the boat. It's not currently for sale

The pictures do it justice. 18yr old cars don't look like new obviously but I'm sure this is a better example than most.

It has 325k's under its belt and despite being looked after has a few blemishes. The interior is in great condition. 20V has 125KW and 220nm of torque.

The exhaust sound is either something you get or you don't. Personally the sound floats my boat

I like the sound of the 5. Ironically it sounds like a 4 crossed with a 6... haha.

                    Got snowed under at work.

Audi looks good but you should push the boat out and get new number plates for it.
