Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

The new forum software is an upgraded version of what came before, it's mostly the same but also a little different. Hopefully easier to use and more stable than before. We are learning together here, so please be patient. If you have questions, please post them here. If you have worked something out and can provide an answer,

Busy Christmas and New Year, the TT was booked into Rob Bliss (Geebung - Brisbane) for a custom cat back system, I opted to keep the resonator and the factory valve was reinstalled into the passenger side tailpipe. Went with some black tips swapping out the original chrome (which had started to pit a bit in places). Very happy with the slightly louder note from the new system but don't get a drone at motorway speeds which is exactly what I wanted.

Once I had the black tips then I went with some black badges, front one is installed and the rear badge should be with me at the end of this week. Really happy with the way the front looks, debating whether the chrome around the grill has to go now as well.......

I'm trying to stop myself purchasing some new rims now

Thanks mate, yeah pleased with it. The exhaust pop (never had any crackles from it) has gone but it's been replaced with a much nicer sound.
