Diesel is tops IMO, strong, efficient burn and they are getting them so quite now. Bring it on. Majority of the Audi/Vw coming through the workshop back in the Uk was diesel. If you get a chance to drive a Treg with the V10 man that is amazing. 720Nm at 1500rpm!!!!!!!!!

Diesel tuning is the way to go, people just havent been converted yet.
Was floggin the TDI today and still got 240km to 1/4 of a tank, torque is just everywhere!
i wish VW Aus bought out the TDI 4 motion here what a fantastic car.VW: it aint just a car, its a way of life

Yeah I'm loving the TDI as well. I filled up on Sunday nigth ready for work the next day. My route is approx a 190km round trip everyday. On Monday I received my ST3 and loaded the fast road map. Went out that night and flogged it around the streets for 30mins. As of tonight I still have 1/4 tank left, I'm averaging 5.5L/100km and done over 600km with 380km remaining according to the MFD. It's a bloody beast when you shift the trans into "S" mode and this coming from a former R34 Skyline owner.
