Extended Warranty Options for 2012 Jetta

Hi all,

Has anyone taken out extended warranty on their Jetta ? What options are out there at the moment ? My car is a 2.0TSI, 2012 (MY12.5) model.

For those who have taken it out who did you go with, have you needed to claim and what did it cost for the premium ?

Had genuine VW extended warranty on a previous car (2006 V6 4-motion Passat) but it has been nearly 5 years since taking out that extended warranty premium which back then was only $1160.

Probably best to call your dealer. I will watch this thread as mine will be coming out of it's 3yr warranty this year also.

As a side note; I had a myFord Extended New Vehicle Warranty on my Mondeo Titanium and it cost $1500 for 3yrs (purchased last month).
So my guess with VW is it will be north of that figure!
