Going to see cuzzies brand new Jetta

My cousin took delivery of a brand new Black pearl Jetta TSI comfortline a few days ago,and is very impressed with it.

Im going to check it out.

It replaces a 13 year old Honda CRV which was owned by him since new,wife drives a 2011 Passat TDI wagon.

They were checking out new Tiguans,CRVs and saw the Jetta on the showroom floor and wanted it.

Got a very good deal,and bought it immediately from Barloworld VW Bayside.

Very impressed,the interior seems to be finished much better than the 2011 ones,and a nice new adition on the exterior is the chrome on the lower side windows .

Latest models also have the folding in door mirrors.a very nice touch.

We just moved on our very old looking and tired feeling 2006 V6 Passat Wagon for a Red 147TSI Jetta - it may not be a hatch style but it has heaps more boot space than Tiguan and it feels much more spritely and faster than the Passat did.

And honestly, red makes this car, makes the car look quite sporty for what otherwise would be a fairly bland looking sedan if it was say silver like our Passat was.

red def. makes it stand out alot more. i hired one in red to drive around hawaii for a week and loved it so much i bought one when i got home shame red was so scarce back then. ended up with white which isnt too bad, looks like an audi (may actual preference lol :p ) silver def. looks bland, cant tell it from a camry lol

dont know if i like the chrome sills. they have them on the passats and it looks a bit gaudish. i guess if youre going for that statesman/calais silver service look it makes it look "classier" but id prefer without.

do the new ones come with an esp button?

Possible to share any info on how much your cousin paid and what is a good price for a 118TSI Comfortline?
