  • Windows going down by themselves...

Hello all, twice now I've had all 4 windows go down half way when simply walking away from the car
when I park it in the garage (unlocked). And I wasn't accediantly pushing the key fob.

Anyone in any VW/AUDI had this?

It happens after 10 seconds or so, not good.

you might have a contact fault in the key barrel or the key barrel slightly sticking...Behind the cover on the drivers door handle you still have the key lock barrel in case the remote stops working to gain access...the lock only has to be very slightly turned off 90o to activate the windows...remove the cap and work the lock a few times and then try again....VDUB...

There is no cover as such but I lubed the key hole (which I never use) and will monitor it.

        Many thanks.
