Hi Dougmo,

driving the same ride as yours (except in Pearl Black) and got my boot lip spoiler off E-bay off a Taiwanese seller.

Suprisingly good quality and the colour match was near. For yours, being White, should be st8 forward.

Fitting it was a BIA*CH... cos you have to heat it up first (careful not to get heat spot damage) and then bend it to fit the curve of the boot's edge...

All in all, got it fitted after much patience. No regrets.

I also fitted the ebay cheapy! A boot lip spoiler, looks subtle but sporty, not bad at all.

I have an OEM bootlip spoiler fitted when I purchased the vehicle. $359 is the list price from VW includes fitment (yes, not exactly value, but anyway...) but got it included as part of an options pack.

At least the fit and colour match are perfect.

This one did it for me.. as the OEM ones after checking with several stealers that they were either discontinued (???) or had to wait for a while before they came in...

You have to let the seller know your colour code. He did quite a good colour match to it as they use VW paint from what I could tell.

Thanks for the link! Much appreciated. But sadly i dont think they have my colour. Metallic platinum grey. Anyhow i've got another question. Where did you get your LEDs done? The interior ones. I'm currently looking for a good reliable workshop which specialises with car lighting and LEDs.

Have you asked the seller? He was really helpful.. gave him the VW colour code and he sorted me out... from what I could tell...his painter seems to have all the colour code so its worth a try (unless you already have)...

As with the LEDs... i bought it off a group buy (thanks XQUIZT) so Im not sure whether you can get anymore... cant help you on this one..although I was looking at ECS tuning in the states which I know carry them... $$$ though.

I got the oem spoiler installed and I really think it suits the mk6 better than the aftermarket ones in this thread that seem to be for mk5 jettas.
