  • jetta cruise control

    Hi guys have recently purchased 2007 jetts fsi with 28000 klm .i have a problem with the cruise control once switched on when i go to set the speed the thing stops working and the warning light on the dash goes out .making the cruise control inoperative .any body have any idea what the problem is or how much it will cost to fix .

    anywho... sounds like a sensor is not working. the cruise cintrol monitors brake clutch and in dsg gear changes via selector or paddles.
    if one of thes is not working then it will cancel the cruise. do check the clutch and brake switches there should be 2 on the brake - one for lights and the other for cruise.

        Very easy to check out the switching of the cruise with VCDS. I have it but there may be someone closer to you that can help.

          Common for stalk switches to fail mate, that will be logging a code in the engine ECU if thats the case, be a good bet its the stalk
