  • Mirror Down

    Hi guys,

Just wondering whether anybody has the mirror-down function working on their Jettas? Is this available in the Australian model?

I've read the instructions in the manual - tried leaving in R (and also in L) - the GTI used to be L - with no success.

    Thanks.

    Cheers,
    Alex

Just to make it a bit easier, check page 3 of the thread so graciously provided by the wonderfully helpful forum member in the above post (don't feel singled out - he is that polite to everybody )

I have a 2008 147TSI model, mirror dip function works. Believe you need rear parking sensors for it to be active, mine has them standard.
Set the mirror control knob to LHS and leave it there. When you select reverse it will dip the mirror on the LHS. When you select Drive it waits till you get over 15-20kmh before returning (well almost) to its original position.
