Changed the bulbs in the new car today, Got Philips H7 4300k for main fronts and wedge bulb, LED DRL and LED fogs.
LED DRL was the most painful, hand got scratched pretty bad, spent like 30 minutes trying to fit my hand in the small hole; but it was worth it!!
heres a pic, not sure if you can see the LED:
Any pics with the main beam +, LED DRL/fogs turned on together?? Does the Philips 4300k bulb match with the LED DRL and LED fogs, in terms of the colour temp?? I'm definitely swapping mine! The LED DRL looks great.
Here is a colour shot, you can see that the philips 4300k is still quite yellow compared to the LED, I'm not sure how to turn on the DRL at the same time as mains and fogs, ..... I can only see a way to turn on the DRL by itself...
oh no CANBUS bulb out ERROR! after a few days!
Looks like I got scammed on the fogs for being 'canbus' ok!
Am I able to replace the main bulbs with any H7's? Or are there certain types I should avoid. Got my eye on the Philips DiamondVision 5000k! Thoughts?
frozze did you manage to change yours?
Probably any H7 bulbs.. There are tons of brands out there. I went with Philips Crystal Vision 4300k. I don't like the bulbs being too blue (i.e. Diamond Vision 5000k). Also, the higher the temp, the dimmer it becomes. Plus, it gives out a bit more blue'ish tinge. Lotsa stock HIDs are 4300k, IRC.
My Crystal Vision came with some T10 parkers. So I swapped them too. Looks better but I think LED is the way to go. I've ordered some already.
Changed the fogs to Crystal Vision as well to match with the main beams. Changed the DRL to some LEDs too. Looks great! Works without throwing an error code.

Not the best pics but here's an idea for the LED DRL, same bulb (and seller) as ch0p (thanks!)
I'm not really handy guy at all, so I got some assistance with changing them. It was really easy for him, 15 minute job all round.
The DRL seems to be the hardest if you have large hands (particularly on the passenger's side).

Would you recommend replacing the DRL? Does it make a huge difference in looks??
It sure does! Looks way better than a stock yellow halogen bulbs. But I think the temp on the LED DRL is a bit too high. I think they're 6500k. 5000k is probably the perfect temp. Not sure if you can find them

I bought ones with 40 SMD LED's (vs 44 in yours) so it will be slightly cooler.
Also, did you replace all 4 H7 headlight/high beam bulbs? Are these available in Autobarn or SuperCheapAuto? Wondering if they're much more expensive there...

I don't think the amount of SMD matters with regards to the colour temp. Probably just slightly dimmer? I could be wrong though..
Only replaced the low beams. Hardly ever use high beam, didn't wanna waste the money.
Yeah you can find the Philips bulb at Super cheap auto. I was there 2 weeks ago. They're about $70-80, IIRC.
Hey guys it seems my Canbus plate lights from eBay aren't Canbus at all. I'm getting errors.
Genuine Philips 4300k working great though.
I got an error for my license plate as well but I've ordered another bulk of LEDs. I hope one of them will work! The current ones are a bit too dim anyway.

Will report back with the updated bulbs.

There's an Aussie seller selling Canbus LED's for just under $10 delivered. Might give him a go....
