Mechatronic replacement need advice
Hi I live in inner west Sydney, yesterday my Jetta 2012 showed wrench sign on dash board.
I parked my car and restarted engine, but car didn't work (although put D or R). engine started normal, works fine but transmission didn't work.
due to this issue, I towed my car to the Volkswegen dealer repair shop, and today my car got diagnosed with Mechatronic unit break down which is required replacement.
They Quote me $4400 to replace the part, and this is a lot pressure to me of cost. I want to get you guys advice of any other suggestions for this situation or if any mechanics can fix this issue cheaper would appreciated.
