Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

    VIC So just joined up GTI owner

    Hey guys
    Live in Melbourne and coming from a highly modified XR5 Mondeo to a little Polo GTI, while it will never be as quick as the old car I'm thinking runs around Reefton Spur are going to be a lot of fun, not going to mod it crazy but will probably go TBE, CAI, Intercooler and tune, then spend money to get it to handle and stop as well.
    So hello and hope to maybe see some of you around the car scene in Melbourne

    Welcome mate, great choice of ride the old XR5 Mondeo!
    Love the 2.5L 5cyl Volvo sourced engine!

    I have had a few Mondeo's also, 2 MC (EcoBoost Hatch and TDCi Wagon Titanium) and 2 MD (EcoBoost Hatch and TDCi Wagon Titanium).

    I very much have a soft spot for the Mondeo!!!
