  • New to VW's - got a Brand new R32!

    Gday all!
My name is Koe. I'm down here in cold old Melbourne.
For the past 2 years I've been driving a modified MY05 Subaru GT Lib Wagon with a Manual transmission. However the time has come to turn her over, so i've opted for something different....
    I've ordered a brand new MY08 R32 Golf!
    Blue 3dr, Manual, with Sunroof.
It should be ready for me to collect this weekend...
Now as my previous car was quite the sleeper (~162kw at all four wheels), i'm wondering if there is a chip out there that can give me a few extra ponies to play with??? And if there are places in Melb that stock and fit them?
    Thanks for your help.
    Will post pics soon!
    Catch.

welcome! 3dr manual is definitely the way to go i reckon there are chips around from companies like oettinger but being NA they will only give limited gains.

Welcome, Koe ... can't wait to see pics of 'The Beast'. The forum is a friendly helpful place and the addition of another shiny, new R32 is always welcome.

      Cheers,
      Dave

What sort of gains are we talking, and price for such a chip?

Blue - grey/black/silver are the other choice and are all to common on everyday golfs... The blue is "R" spec vw's only!
