Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

The new forum software is an upgraded version of what came before, it's mostly the same but also a little different. Hopefully easier to use and more stable than before. We are learning together here, so please be patient. If you have questions, please post them here. If you have worked something out and can provide an answer,

  • Car Enthusiast with a big passion for VW and Audi

Good Morning from Germany to all of you.

At the moment, I am very interesting in the Golf 7 topics with a special focus on the Golf 7 R.

I am looking forward to reading your posts, watching your car photos and getting interesting information to all areas regarding the Golf 7.

My current car is an Audi A5 Coupé 3.0 TDI quattro from 2008 with modifications by ABT including engine power and some OEM based changes in detail. For me, the A5 Coupé B8 series is one of the most beautiful cars ever and I enjoy every ride on every day.

Due to the - let me say - "intensive" German discussion about the Diesel problems regarding Nitrogen oxides and the particulate matter of car traffic in general I have decided to search for "alternatives" and the Golf 7 R is by far the most favorite car to succeed my dearly beloved Audi.

    Best regards, SIB6274

    Hi there, welcome!
I agree, the A5 Coupe is a beautiful vehicle, and something I have come very close to owning a couple of times (my practicality always getting the better of me). I'd love to see some photo's!
