QLD Hello from a soon to be new VW Golf Owner

I've just ordered my first ever VW after owning three Mazdas: a 7.5 Golf Highline Wagon with Driver's Assistance Package in Indium Grey. It should arrive in the next few weeks: I am excited about getting it.

I am keen to participate in these forums and I use Whirlpool forums a lot and someone mentioned to see if there's someone around Brisbane who can help me enable live traffic on the in car system as the dealer told me this isn't possible - I'll post a separate note about this and I'm willing to fix someone up with beer/cash for helping me. I'm a bit nervous about doing this and how it'll affect servicing/warranty.

I see there's some other tweaks that can be done (rain mode) but again I'm worried about how these will affect the car.

Welcome to vw ownership mate

The DAP is a great pick of options you will love the active cruise and the digital dash is very nice indeed i could not go back to analog now

If your looking for a easy option to get rid of the annoying start /stop see the thread in mark 7 forums kufatech module it's fully reversible for when you have to take it into dealership

Soon all your family will drive a vw 8 years after my 1st golf we now have 7 in extended family and probably more to come
