Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

    Don't drive any Vw at this stage....have only driven Golfs in the past.
    I'm a mechanic by trade and have always been involved in rebuilding MK1 golfs overseas.
    work as tech support engineer for Mercedes Benz but still love VAG

    Hey Welcome to the forum ! I came from an A200 Merc w176 n wanted something faster so traded in for a GTI Performance. Haha missing the merc and want to upgrade to the A250. What are your thoughts on that based on your mechanical experience for Benz [emoji51][emoji24]
