Just picked up my Polo Gti manual in black with a set of 17" OZ superturismo.
What can I say....what a car for 30k! Loving it.
If there's anything you guys think I should know please do!?

Very tempted to go see the guys at MR Tuning in Yatala.....and see what the options are for these 1.8's. I can't help modding stuff lol.
This is meant to be my daily commuter.
What do you suggest?

I dont have any suggestions sorry, im new to the 6C Polo, only got mine a few months ago and its a lease so not really modding it alot. The guys in the 6C polo section on here might be more useful for you, there loads of info already in that subforum as well.

There are many other options to MR Tuning. Unless you're building it to a race car, I suggest looking around further. That's not to sound like a workshop bash, quite the opposite, but if it's just a tune, air in, air out, best to familiarise yourself with that section of the forum.

My exposure to MR Tuning has only been on race cars, and very good race/track cars at that.

Black paint on those wheels looks damn tidy. Very nice

Yeah I've a bit to learn tbh. I'm new to both the area and the brand. I just returned from the uk where I built a few blown LSX's.
As I said above, I can't leave anything alone and there's a good chance it will see a track day or 2.
Cheers on the wheels, ordered them through JAX Tyres. I had the same on my E60 M5 overseas. Loved them ever since.

If you're into track days, pending what experience you've had and where you want to start, the forum does offers called Happy Laps, which is a 30min "cruise" session at Queensland Raceway and Lakeside. It's untimed, more like a brisk mountain run without the cops. I do timeattack racing which is timed. Just like Sprints, but more track car oriented than daily street cars, they are the same price events but better organised, less cars on track and generally better driver ability and etiquette (once you're out of the beginner group).

Thanks very much seangti....exactly what I wanted to hear. I've done a few track days when still living in the UK, mainly at Donnington in larger RWD cars Luke my M5 and E46 CSL M3. No track expert however.
