Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

    QLD Joined the club today

    Hello! I bought a 2012 MKVI GTI today and I love it! Coming from a 2009 JCW MINI Clubman.

    Here are a couple of pictures as I picked it up today. Black with black leather interior

      Get some red vinyl from a sign shop that's the same colour as the read on your grille. Cut it to to be the same Hight as your lower bar. Joey mod your headlights and put it right below the chrome and match the hight.

          Look at the MK7 Gti where the red continues into the lights.
          Look at the new R where the chrom continues into the lights. Google 'Joey mod'
          Here's a bad example of what an east coast bud did

                Thanks mate that looks killer!

                I just debadged the rear GTI badge and replaced all the interior bulbs with LEDs. I love this car!
