Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

The new forum software is an upgraded version of what came before, it's mostly the same but also a little different. Hopefully easier to use and more stable than before. We are learning together here, so please be patient. If you have questions, please post them here. If you have worked something out and can provide an answer,

  • QLD N00b here. Hi!

    Hello fellow VW friends!
I'm the proud owner of a 2003 Bora 2.8 24v vr6, black metallic with a black leather interior. It's running on bilstein shocks, and 18" alloys. The ride height is lowered and a dark window tint completes the sleek look. Not much has been done to it apart from the suspension work, a k&n air intake filter, and an aftermarket exhaust that gives the engine a nice deep growl.
Looking to meet other vw drivers to exchange information and experience.

There seem to be a lot of Boras around lately, the V6 is a great car still.
