Hey folks, looking for a bit of help here.
i recently bought a New Trnsporter runner. It has the new composition colour radio.. Features inc a USB port for iPod etc.. I have tried iPod, iPhone iPad and none work.." Not compatible " I have spoken to the dealer, and his first reaction was that I needed a specific cable... After trying this, he said that it is only for memory sticks and charging.. I queried this, as the manual and all other specs world wide are the same for this product, stating iPod, iPhone ,Apple comparable. I sent them a mail advising of this, to which they have not yet responded... 1 month later..I want to send VW a letter and then step it up to Fair trade.. It may sound a bit iffy, but I use the USB and Bluetooth systems all the time... Do you think that I have a case? Or am I wasting my time... I would not have bought the veh if I was aware of the no use USB.
