Newbie, leaving Oz soon, looking for advise

Hi,

I've been a long timelurker in the van section had a T3 and T5 over the past 4 years.

I'm looking for some help. Not sure which section is best. I've started the registration process for my T5 Multivan into the UK (weak dollar, high UK van prices, work paying for shipping.) The only issue is the QLD paperwork doesn't show the date first registered. In the UK all registration numbers are based on age of vehicle and this has a knock on effect to the 2nd hand value.

I've emailed the generic help email at Volkswagen AU for assistance but haven't heard anything. Has anyone ever exported a VW from here and got a confirmation of age etc. from VW?

Hasnt it got a build date on its sticker usually on the pillar when you open a door.

Yes it does. Unfortunately the DVLA need a full date, the sticker has 09/10 on it. They've asked for confirmation from the manufacturer.
