NSW Another VW MK2 GTI Newbie reporting for duty

Hey Guys,
I have recently sold my 2005 Subaru Impreza RS and much to the dismay of some friends and family purchased the car of my dreams a 1991 VW Golf GTI 8v

I have always loved the look of these cars and when the opportunity to purchase presented itself I just couldn't say no, regardless of how much backlash I was going to cop from the wife
The car appears to be in quite good condition and has quite low kms considering the age. I even drove all the way to the ACT to bring back this little beauty.

I currently using it as my daily driver and have joined this forum to hopefully get some valuable support and information for other owners.

I'll post some pics as soon as I'm able too.

I gotta say I'm loving the style and boxeyness!

Your right about that! I think the wife is even coming around after she was forced to use it on a recent trip to Aldi
