Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

The new forum software is an upgraded version of what came before, it's mostly the same but also a little different. Hopefully easier to use and more stable than before. We are learning together here, so please be patient. If you have questions, please post them here. If you have worked something out and can provide an answer,

Hey guys . Ryan here. A pro Detailer ( Autofxwa ) in Western Australia, both myself and Des own 2009 vw caddys which we are starting to mod up. First we have lowered both vans and are now looking for performance modifications . We have the 1.9 TDI versions . If anyone could lead us the right way. We are thinking a turbo catback to start with and a remap

Check out Darkside Developments in the UK.

I remapped my 2007 1.9. Tdi. Makes a big difference to the drive.

I looked at loads of remaps from various companies and found they only varied slightly in advertised performance gains for stage 1 maps, but varied massively in price. In the end I went with DNA tuning.

The best source of info is the caddy2k forum in the UK. Takes a few posts etc to get full access but worth the wait.
