Just purchased a 2.0 1992 Golf Mk2, my first Mk2 actually.
Few issues on purchase:
Needs to go over the pits.
Tires are below average.
Rims are scuffed and has road rash
Second gear grinds and there is no 5th
Missing a few trim pieces
Noisy tappets.
Absolutely flat with no power (feels like a 1.3)
Previous VW were:
MK1 15 years ago
recently Polo 6R 12. TSI
