Newbie from Darwin NT
G'day Ladies & Gents, I am the proud owner of an MY16 GTi, White, Manual with Driver assist. I love the car, paid about $7k below the RRP and have enjoyed every minute of the last month slowly putting km's on it. I joined the forum as I find that they are a great place to learn about you vehicle. I belong to a couple of different forum for the other toys (Camera & Motorcycles) that I own and I expect that I'll contribute and get the same benefits from this one also. Thanks for having me.

G'day Tigger, thanks for the welcome. At this point in time all I want is to get the bugs out. Once I get her sorted I'll attempt to get my head around the terminology being used here and then plan a mild chip based performance lift that gets me the most bang for my buck. Living in Darwin means I need to be aware of the limitation placed on the car due to ambient temperature's that sit around 34deg constantly. I was thinking that this site needs a dictionary for all of the acronyms being used eg MIBII, is it Men In Black??
