Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

    SA Newbie SA Polo driver

    Hi!

    Have just purchased my first VW - a MK5 Polo in Pepper Grey. Loving it.

    Here for minor mod tips... & to buy/sell some wheels!

    Made the silly mistake of purchasing 5x112 (Golf GTI) 17" Denver wheels, instead of the 5x100 (Polo GTI fit).... being new to the VW scene, I didn't realise all of this until AFTER I had spent some time painting them matte black.

    So if anyone is after some nice matte black 17" genuine VW Denvers (no scratches, tyres need replacing), let me know! tinneha@hotmail.com

    & I'm also after some Denvers to fit my Polo...... If anybody has some, please let me know!

        Don't worry we've all done them. It's part of the joys of modifying/personalising ones car. The pain/heartache leads to greater satisfaction when it all fits and works

        Next cruise is on Sunday 11th October. Check the events section closer to the date for start location/time and route info.
