Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

    First time VW buyer.. well not yet...

    Hey Guys,

    just a quick intro, I ordered a brand new Platinum Grey Jetta 118TSI DSG last weekend... and can't wait to get.. in like 3 weeks

    this will be my first VW ever

              Newbie excited to be getting a Passat Wagon - advise please!

              Hi Everyone!
              Love the Passat Wagon in diesel, looking at demo or < 45,000 on the clock, would love some advice as to the difference in the TDI models between 2012-2015. At the moment wondering if it's worth the extra $10k for MY15 vs an MY13. Also is there a difference in build between MY13/MY14?

              Want it as a family car, good fuel economy and room for the toddlers stuff, not super interested in the techy sat nav stuff but it will be a bonus.

              My last VW was a 1989 Golf Wolfsburg edition, which I deeply regret selling but was moving OS
