Looking at doing a track day soon after completing a defensive driver course. I was wondering what i'm likely to get out of it. ei a new appreciation for my car ( 02 4mo Bora) or if its not worth spending the dollars. The track day i'm looking at is with John Bowe Driving with a fair bit of instruction.

Do it. You'll learn a bucket load about vehicle control and generally how to drive your car better.
I've done several track days and I love it. Great bang for buck, a lot of fun and you'll meet great people. I've been in motorsport my whole life and even I like taking the road car (or van in my case) out for a burn.
