Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

    ACT Newbie (sort of) and proud owner of 2007 RS Octavia Sedan/Hatch

    Hi All
    From ACT and have just purchased a 2007 RS Manual Octavia. Very excited with the exception of no bluetooth! Not my first Skoda as my ex and I bought a 90TSI Octavia in 2011, which she is still driving. Best mate also has a 2011 RS Wagon.
    I've anybody local or Sydney has had experience in swapping the head unit or adding bluetooth to the existing unit, would love to hear from you.

    Hi,
    Have you got any advice when looking at a vRS manual Octavia? I'm also looking at a 2007 with around 100,000 kms.
    How much did you pay? Kms?
    Is timing belt due at 105,000 kms as I believe?
    Anything to look out for when test driving / inspecting?
    I'd consider having it inspected and may call Camden GTI in Campbeltown to discuss service needs.
    Any personal advice you can give is appreciated!
