Hey all
I'm fairly new to the vw world and own a 1998 Mk4 golf 1.6 GL. its having a bit of a problem and my mate austin said this was the place to find out anything about vw, so here i am.
i hopefully plan to mod my car a little bit, maybe just some coilovers and wheels, stance it a bit.
open to any ideas you all have for mods!
the golf has worked perfectly over the year ive owned it, was in pretty mint condition when i got it but just in the past week the cooling system has had a problem and my engine overheats, i replaced the thermostat and flushed the radiator and hoses, was a bit of some grey lumpy sediment but cleaned it all out and its still struggling to stay at a safe temperature. there didn't seem like it had any oil in the coolant so im pretty certain its not the HG...
would love to hear what anyone thinks it may be or if you know a vw mechanic around the central coast id like to get to know them a bit better haha
