Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

    New to VW's

    Hey all.

    Just found this forum whilst looking for all the mods people have done to their Volkswagens, Golfs in particular.
    Just recently got my P's in Melbourne, and am considering getting a golf.

    Anyone know much about the 08 Golf 1.6 "Edition"?

    I own an 06 Golf TDI and I always thought they might be series runout models. So they would've gotten a bit more kit than was standard. But that's just a guess lol.
