Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

The new forum software is an upgraded version of what came before, it's mostly the same but also a little different. Hopefully easier to use and more stable than before. We are learning together here, so please be patient. If you have questions, please post them here. If you have worked something out and can provide an answer,

    Hey Guys,

Happy owner to a 2012 VW Scirocco R in Candy White!
Engine is still stock, however has aftermarket 19inch wheels in Black. I'll probably keep it as is for now

                  They're Oettinger brand. 19x8.5
A little wider then the stock ones.

Did abit of research, its these ones:
                  Oettinger Sportsystems GmbH - Products

They look ok. Would like to see on car. Do they fit the same as stock (offset etc.). How come you don't want them?

Some reason my previous post didn't show up with the images.

                      See below for an image:

These are .5mm wider then stock. It fits straight on
There is a very minor 2cm scratch on the driver side, however its still in black. Not scrapped to silver. Very unnoticeable

Reason why I want to change them, is that I personally like the stock look. However I do want to change to HRE rims once I have the funds
