Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

    Joining From WA

    Hi Guys,

    I just purchased my first golf recently and would like to join this community!

    The golf I bought is a used 2011 Mk6 Golf R, and as I am very new to cars in general, I would like to participate in this forum more and hope to gain some good knowledge from the community.

    Here are the photos of my car after a quick wash up last week.

      Hi Gareth!

      This is a DSG. wanted a manual fun car, but the missus can only drive an auto and hence i thought it is more practical to go for a car that we could both drive. Plus i heard a lot of great things about DSG (some bad ones as well).

      Yes i am keen to meet up for coffees and hopefully get to learn more about cars!
