Hey all, I'm fairly new here and to modifying in general. I got my Mk4 Golf in 2012 and it has been great since I got it with very minor issues. It's a 2004 "Sport" model with a sunroof, AEG 2.0 engine and some refresh mods:
- New Sachs Clutch and Pressure Plate w/ ecs tuning single mass flywheel
- K&N air filter
- Really badly black plastidipped alloys (i forget what style they are)
- Koni STR Cup Kit w/ H&R sport springs
- ECS Tuning Ultimate dogbone
- Basic vinyl wrapped components around the cluster area (where the headunit and climate control is)
The car is not extreme, it's a daily to get from A to B. However I'm hoping within the next 1/2 year or so to get started on a MK1 golf project and am confident this website will have a wealth of information to share!
